What is a Care Group?
Care groups, as our small groups are called, are one of the most effective ways to begin "preparing God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ" (Eph. 4:12-13) With this directional mandate, care groups hold us to the goal of:
- Developing an exciting and growth facilitating relationship with God.
- Acquiring meaningful and accountable relationships with one and other
- Striving for a coring relationship with those outside the church
- Building church life through the discipling of small group leaders
The purpose of our care group ministry is to minister and serve in the community where God has led us so that lives may be changed through Christ for the glory of an unchanging God.
By joining a care group and becoming part of Foothills Fellowship Church small group study ministry, you will have no doubt about the power of a care group to inspire faith, promote devotion, and help you apply the teachings of scripture. A care group can become God's instrument to change your life and improve the community you live in.
How do I get more information?
